Camas Ridge Community School

Upcoming Assessments EasyCBMs and OSAS

Posted Date: 5/08/25 (6:15 PM)

Dear Camas Families,

easyCBM Testing Opens This Next Week (05/12/2025) K-5

As many of you may know, elementary students in the Eugene 4J school district take the EasyCBM Reading and Math assessments three times a year (fall, winter and spring) across all grade levels (K-5). The assessments are designed to capture a “Snapshot” of each child’s reading and math understanding and to show progress over time. This next round of assessment is scheduled to open and start next week 05/12/25. Please know that we will, at all grade levels, be careful to communicate to students that EasyCBM tests are not high-stakes. These tests are simply a way to gauge their individual reading and math levels for progress monitoring and is a component of their learning here at Camas Ridge. Results from the fall, winter and spring EasyCBM tests are shared during Parent/Teacher conferences and in your child’s report cards. Feel free to contact your child’s teacher if you have questions regarding this testing.
