Dear Camas Ridge families,
Planning is underway for our new Camas Ridge Elementary School building.
In March, the design team shared the preliminary building siting plan for the new school to give our community the chance to review and provide feedback at an early stage. The design team has refined the plans responsive to community feedback and has developed the schematic design.
Later this month, the architects will provide an update and seek feedback on design progress through schematic design. Please join us Wednesday, May 26 at 6 p.m.: Get an update on the revised site plan and the initial school building design. Talk with the architects, ask questions and share your comments.
If you’re not able to attend the virtual open house, you can visit the school rebuild information page at 4j.lane.edu/bond/projects/camasridge after the event to see the presentation slides and share your feedback in an online form.
You can also find answers to some frequently asked questions at 4j.lane.edu/bond/projects/camasridge/faq-camas.
The design process for each of the new school buildings includes two community open houses to provide information and seek feedback on the schematic design and design development stages. The next design open house, for the design development stage, will be held this fall.
We look forward to seeing you virtually on May 26!
