Families have many opportunities for involvement at Camas Ridge. They are active supporters of our teachers and students, in and out of the classroom.
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
The main goal and purpose of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to actively work to support Camas Ridge teachers and staff in their efforts to educate students. The PTO performs three essential functions for the school – communication, community building, and fundraising.
Volunteering at Camas Ridge
In addition to the seasonal events and fundraising efforts that the PTO organizes, there are a host of other activities parent help out with. Parent volunteers help keep the library running smoothly, maintain the school garden, advocate for good nutrition, help out in the classroom, take photos, collect for seasonal food drives, and are integral to the documentation process that is a vital part of our fabulous Art Walk events. We welcome aunts, uncles, grandparents and other community members of our students as volunteers.
