What’s Happening January 4 – 8

Dear Camas Ridge Families

Jan. 5th No School – Professional Development & Planning
We are pleased to welcome Harriette Rasmussen to Camas Ridge on Jan. 5. Harriette specializes in helping teachers to observe each other and to share & strengthen their instructional practices. Harriette will conduct a unique workshop specially designed to help Camas Ridge teachers to apply the essential elements of Project Based Learning in core academic classes as well as Community Time and Project classes. Thanks to a federal school improvement grant, teachers will get the opportunity to observe other classes and to form a “Professional Learning Community” dedicated to integrating the principles of Project Based Learning throughout the curriculum. We will share more about this exciting project at a future PTO meeting.

welcomeWednesday, Jan. 6 – Welcome Back Students!!
