Dear Camas Ridge Families,

Frank Craig – Music to Our Ears
Please join me in welcoming Frank Craig to Camas Ridge. Frank is a skilled and passionate musician and music teacher who is excited about the possibilities of integrating music with Community Time and Project Based Learning classes. Frank has taught music K-12 most recently in Lebanon and Albany School Districts.

Camas Ridge Direct Drive is Off and Running!!
Cams Ridge Families will receive a letter in the mail encouraging families who are able to participate in our Fall Direct Drive Campaign. Our goal is to raise $15,000.00 to help provide literacy support for students K-3. Families can donate by dropping off a check in the office or by donating directly to Camas Ridge’s EEF account. Wednesday is Walk and Bike to School Day. We will celebrate Walk and Bike to School Day with music, healthy foods, prizes etc. by the outdoor classroom from 7: 30 – 8:20. Students are encouraged to walk, ride, skate, car pool or ride the bus to school . We will also have representatives from the City of Eugene to help dedicate the new 30th Ave. pedestrian crossing signal.

Mural Dedication Wed. 12:30 – 12:55 – Front Lawn
Parents and students are invited to gather on the front lawn to officially unveil and dedicate our beautiful and inspiring new mural. Thanks to a generous donation from a Camas Ridge family, muralist Esteban Camacho and the students of Camas Ridge have created a mural that symbolizes our commitment to a welcoming, respectful, inclusive and creative learning community for all students. Each Community Time class helped design and paint the mural.
